About Heartfelt, Inc.

Heartfelt, Inc. began in 1987 as the dream of Linwood and Lea Metts. The couple started the business in their home as a small greeting card publisher but later shifted emphasis from greeting cards to framed sentiments for friends and family, as well as framed decorative accents for the home. The business moved into its first warehouse in 1990 and later moved to a larger facility in 1994 to accommodate the continued growth. Since then, the company has gone through a number of expansions to keep up with the record growth. Most recently in 2003, the company moved into its new 68,000 square foot facility. 

In 1996, Heartfelt, Inc. was named on the Inc 500 List by Inc Magazine as one of the top 500 fastest growing privately held companies in America.

In 2003, the company expanded into two additional divisions: Home Accents by Heartfelt offers decorative wall décor and Heartfelt Memories offers a variety of photo frames.

In 2005, the company expanded once again and added an additional division: Christian Home Accents by Heartfelt offers decorative wall decor with scriptures. 

In 2009, Heartfelt partnered with Lakeside Designs to develop new unique and exquisite product lines including Heartfelt’s highly popular Faith Freshener scented collection and Vibrant Expression Bookmark collection.

Today, Heartfelt is well known in the gift industry for its fine quality and the wide variety of framed products offered. All are produced in the manufacturing facility in Salem, Virginia.

The company’s goal is to continually create an array of new art designs and verses for gift retailers, Christian bookstores, and home décor retail accounts. The Mettses give credit for the success of the company to God and are thankful for the blessing of employees, artists, and writers who take a great deal of pride in the quality of their work.
